چکیده
Abstract Introduction. In stage performances, dancing requires synchronous connections, choosing paths in space, forming, balancing shapes, adjusting tempo and energy, as well partnering. Therefore, addition to proprioceptive abilities central vision, peripheral vision is used a large extent. Will the role of be relevant selected dance styles techniques? The aim this study was compare perception between contemporary dancers, folk dancers non-dancers. Material Methods. included 126 individuals. This group consisted 48 19 58 non-dancers (the control – students who did sports other than dance). Vienna Test System assess perception. Statistical analysis results performed using one-way variance (ANOVA). Results. Interpretation test indicate that dancers’ visual range relatively large, averaging 175.3° for 175.58° dancers. As group, 172.64°. case statistically significant differences were noted (p < 0.01) 0.05). Conclusions. Contemporary not show variation vision. However, occurred It studied groups had better functions related field group.

Dynamic postural control and associated attentional demands in contemporary dancers versus non-dancers
Postural control is not a fully automatic process, but requires a certain level of attention, particularly as the difficulty of the postural task increases. This study aimed at testing whether experienced contemporary dancers, because of their specialized training involving the control of posture/balance, would present with a dual-task performance suggesting lesser attentional demands associate...

An evaluation of differences in hip external rotation strength and range of motion between female dancers and non-dancers.
OBJECTIVES To evaluate the differences in hip external rotation (ER) strength and inner, outer, and total hip ER range of motion (ROM) between dancers and non-dancers and between left and right sides in each group. METHODS Seventy one subjects (34 dancers and 37 non-dancers) volunteered for this study. The strength (truncated range average torque (TRAT), work, and angle specific torque (AST))...

The objective of the study was to assess the sacculocollic and otolith ocular pathway function using cervical vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (cVEMP) and ocular vestibular myogenic potentials (oVEMP) in dancers and non dancers. Total 16 subjects participated in the study. Out of 16 participants, 8 were trained in Indian classical form of dance (dancers) and other 8 participants who were n...
